We then headed off on our wine tour - which ended up being chauffeur driven in the Audi - yes, we went in style. It was just Kel and I which meant we could do whatever we liked. The first stop was Mud Brick which is rip-off of it's famous counterpart in Marlborough. We had lunch here which was a beautiful antipasto platter and of course beautiful wine. It was my NZ happy place!

Day 3 - 27 May 2007
I got up and went for a jog at 7:30 which meant the sun was barely up. As a result, I donned my jumper, beanie and gloves as I wasn't prepared to be cold. I suddenly felt a bit like the Michelin Man when others were running past me in shorts and t-shirts but decided they were all mad and at least I was nice and warm.

We then headed off to Pegasus Bay which is a famous winery - wines ok, and the other two I can't remember. But the wine at the first was definitely the best. The last place we went to had liqueurs and we were treated to their version of the Cocksucking Cowboy. She was quite amused when I told her they were now called Heath Ledgers and lamented that it was her last day at the job as she swore she would have used that every day! I was glad to bring a little culture into her life!
