Happy Birthday Uncle Tony

The lovely Tony turned the big 40 shortly after my birthday and invited me along to his 40th - lovely man. Why Uncle Tony? Well that's due to him writing on a postcard to me - he got his Fiona's mixed up!

Jen looked fab as the quintessential Barbie and I did my best as Madonna Barbie - from the Music clip.

We also had an array of other charatchrs, including Asian Barbie, Obi Wan KENobi and Snow Board Barbie!


And of course the lovely Nikki as Retro Barbie - got to love that dress!

Thanks guys, had an awesome night and congrats on the engagement! Tres excited for the both of you!

Birthday Girl

So the 19th June has come around yet again and the big 32 is upon me. I was looking at it as the double anniversary of my sweet 16th. But Karl said "You should say you are legally allowed to have sex with someone half your age." Thanks Karl, a truly unique view and one I had to practice saying before I went out.

My actual birthday was lovely. I had lunch with Jen, Danielle and Ange at the lovely Pane E Vino. I scored some lovely gifts and jewellry seemed to be the flavour of this year's gifts which was great as I never buy it for myself.

I then had dinner at The Vietnamese (my fave restaurant) with Nikki and Helen which was, as always, truly fab.

Saturday night was the big do. 17 of us for dinner and drinks. Nikki came around and did my hair - yes, my own personal stylist.

Sadly I did't take too many pictures. But we had a great night and eventually I had to be taken home because I stopped making sense. I believe the fact I had been working since 7am caused that. Nothing to do with the wine at all!
