Last Saturday Emma and I were walking home after our stroll in the park. There was an old man sweeping the footpath and we assumed he would move to let us pass. Instead he rammed the broom into my foot and when I said "OH, what are you doing," he told us we shouldn't be walking on the pathway. When I said "You could stop for 5 seconds to let us pass," he hit me with the broom. I said "What are you doing" and he hit me again.
At this time we decided it was time to get out of there. I turned around and saw a lady with her dog and stopped to ask yher if she would be a witness because I was going to call the police. When he saw us talking, he started running down the footpath with broom in tow.
The police came around and paid him a visit. He apparantly didn't see me but the bruise on my arm says he saw my arm pretty damn well! Needless to say I'll be walking on the other side of the street from now on.
Only I would get beaten up by an old man and his broom!

HAPPY 2007!
Well if you check in on my comments from time to time you'll see the last one is from my Mother telling me to update my site. Yes Mum! But I must admit, I have been a little slack so I apologise to those of you who have been checking in and have had nothing new to look at.
Christmas was nice and quiet at Mum and Dad's. Dad dressed up as Santa on Xmas day and went around to some old people's homes to hand out home made fruit cake. I went along as the elf to help and got cracked onto by two 90 year olds. Well, it's nice to know they still have it!
New Years was at Helen's where we had champagne cocktails, mud masks, wine, wine, and more wine, cocktails and a mountain of food. We then stood on her balcony and watched the fireworks which were great. So a nice quiet start to the year which was nice.
Work is good but busy. At the moment I'm working on asbestos, hepatitis C and obesity so a nice mixed bag of health problems there. But I'm really enjoying it and will even get to go to glamourous Kingaroy at the end of the month.
Apart from that I've put myself on a strict budget to save money to buy a flat mid-year. I've started the search already and am spending every Saturday out looking at places to get an idea of the market. It's pretty exciting but I just need the permanant job to go with it. In preparation of buying something I'm making the most of Bunnings free workshops on the weekends. I'm heading off this Sunday for how to lay ceramic tiles, followed by how to make your own photo frames. So yep, everyone is getting photo frames this year.
So all in all I'm doing fantastically well at the moment and feeling great so stay tuned for all the fun adventures of 2007 - I'm sure there will be many!
